I’m a dog mom times two, my Pitty is my snuggle bug and my Bluey is my wild child!
I’m the typical middle child who has always marched to the beat of her own drum. Which brings me to my next batch of fun facts… I am 25 years old and since my last birthday I have: become a homeowner, gotten engaged, and started my own small business!
The Story of Body Bespoke
When people ask me, “How long have you been doing massage?”, it’s always a hard question to answer. I embarked on this career path of learning bodywork professionally in 2019 when I dropped out of Blue Ridge Community College to go to trade school and work towards my License in Massage Therapy. I realized that if I didn’t chase my dream, I’d just throw money at a random degree and I didn’t even know what that would be! In 2021 I completed the 800 hour program that would allow me to test for my Massage Therapy License, and the rest is history…

Really though, I owe every bit of this beautiful journey to my mother. I was 7 years old when we moved from North Carolina to scenic Blue Ridge Virginia. The transition was anything but easy, especially for my mom. Seeing her mental and emotional struggle was overwhelming as a child, so I decided she needed a spa day. Needless to say, I didn’t have any money to send her to a luxury retreat, so back rubs from me in bed would have to do - and they did! Not only did the bodywork help her muscles but it gave her the opportunity to quiet her mind and feel like she was her own person for a little bit, not just “Mom”. Little did she know, her comments about my “Magic Hands” would anchor themselves in my brain. I decided at a very young age to dedicate my life to helping people through the holistic healing properties of massage and bodywork after seeing how it helped her physically, emotionally, even spiritually!

Body Bespoke helps me recognize that dream and fulfill my purpose more than ever. I am learning that conquering my own fears of business ownership helps me broaden my reach, form deeper connections with my community, and see the wonder of this industry in full color! I simply wouldn’t be where I am today without the women who continue to uplift me, my friends and family, my fiancé, or literally every single person I’ve ever met. Learning about the connectivity of the human body, enlightened me to the connection we all share despite our differences - and if you’re reading this then that means you’re part of my story too! So thank you, I hope you’ll allow me to return the favor and be apart of your bodywork journey…
